Pakistan Security Printing Corporation (Pvt.) Limited, (PSPC) is a wholly owned subsidiary of State Bank of Pakistan and is the nation's sole security printing entity responsible for producing banknotes, passports, and other security documents.

We are looking for dynamic, skilled and experienced professional who is keen to contribute towards shaping the future of currency production, for the following position
Quantity Surveyor (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) (1-Position)
Location: Karachi/Faisalabad
The incumbent will be responsible for protecting the client's financial interests on a major project. He will be responsible for controlling the budget, ensuring value for money, and managing all financial aspects of MEP packages from start to finish.
Key responsibilities of the incumbent will include, but not limited to, the following:
Prepare/Review BOQs and Cost Estimates for MEP packages. Evaluate and compare tender submissions from contractors to advise the client on the best bid.
Review, verify and certify the contractor's monthly payment applications (Running Account Bills).
Scrutinize, negotiate, and approve Variation Orders (VOs) and claims.
Lead the preparation and agreement of the Final Account for MEP packages. Ensure all work is in line with contract documents.
Liaise with the Project Manager to conduct site visits, verify progress, and track work against the budget and schedule.
Provide timely cost reports and forecasts to the client, highlighting any financial risks.
Eligibility Criteria:
Education: Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or Higher Qualification in Engineering.
Certification in AutoCAD and proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), will be considered as an added advantage.
Age: Maximum 50 years as on the last date of submission of application to PSPC.
Experience: At least 10 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor of building project with minimum 3 years in employer/consultant-side project management.
Note:
Position is on contract basis for three (03) years, extendable subject to requirement and performance.
